Students Talk Back

The “Students Talk Back" video series was created in 2019 at Scottsdale Community College by Ole Olafson, Janet Richards, Tyler Buckland, Cynthia Tapia, Ivana Venema-Nuñez, and Jason White. The project invited students, staff, and campus members to engage in a 5-10-minute interview covering current events, including breaking news, societal issues, technology, and pop culture.

Originally, Buckland, Tapia, and Venema-Nuñez exclusively conducted the interviews. However, as we recognized the educational value of the platform for new students, the series was subsequently opened to anyone in class who felt prepared to participate.
